HydraFacial is an invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime or irritation. The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.

Why is HydraFacial good for my skin?

Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase signs of aging. HydraFacial is a hydrating and non-irritating treatment.

Am I a candidate for this treatment?

The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. Consult your physician or skin care professional for a skin evaluation and sensitivity test.

How long does the treatment take? Is there any downtime or pain involved?

Our goal is to help support you in a balanced lifestyle. That’s why HydraFacial is a fast, efficient treatment that takes as little as 30 minutes. You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.

What results may be expected? How many treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?

Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Facials

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) FacialsPRP Helps:

  • Look younger
  • Erase Sun Damage
  • Fill in deep wrinkles
  • Erase deep acne scars and pitting
  • Stretch marks
  • Skin Recovery and Smoothing
  • Collagen Reproduction
  • Rosacea
  • Dark circles and puffiness under eyes
  • Brightens your skin and makes it look healthy

Can be used with micro needling, microdermabrasion, C02 resurfacing, fillers.  Restylane and Juvederm fill specific lines and folds where PRP improves overall volume, fullness, and skin tone.  Using them together is very effective. PRP acts to improve overall quality, tightness, and texture of the skin rather than filling individual deeper wrinkles.

Since PRP uses your own blood, there are no allergic reactions.  Side effects could include mild irritation, edema, bruising, swelling, itching, discoloration or tenderness at the injection site.

Blood is drawn from the patient and is placed in a centrifuge and spun in order to separate the blood from the growth factors, platelets and stem cells.  Our body naturally produces stem cells that help us heal by stimulating the growth of collagen, as well as blood vessels that deliver oxygen to bodily tissues. Platelets and growth factors found in the blood stimulate stem cells, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) contains three to five times as many of these substances as normal blood.  PRP has been used for many years to heal wounds.

Recovery and healing take about one week and effects can last up to one year.  Most patients can return to work the next day.  Maintenance treatments are suggested.  It may take longer to see the effects of PRP compared to regular fillers, but you will see result about 3 or 4 weeks after the treatment session and will improve with time.

Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic technique that uses a mechanical medium for exfoliation to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis. It is a non-invasive procedure and may be performed in-office by a trained skin care professional. It may also be performed at home using a variety of products which are designed to mechanically exfoliate the skin. Many salon machines and home-use machines use adjustable suction to improve the efficacy of the abrasion tool. Recently cosmetic scrub products that contain fine grit made from the pits of various fruits and from other materials are using the term microdermabrasion in their marketing.

Dermabrasion is generally used to refer to a surgical procedure that abrades away the top layers of the skin. The term microdermabrasion generally refers to a non-surgical procedure that abrades less deeply than dermabrasion. Although the mechanism of the two procedures is similar, the difference in the depth of the abrasion results in different recovery times. Dermabrasion recovery time may take as much as several weeks to several months whereas microdermabrasion recovery time may be as little as one to two days. After microdermabrasion, the skin will be much more sensitive to sun exposure. It is best to keep out of the sun and wear sunscreen at all times after the procedure.

Microdermabrasion may be performed to decrease the appearance of superficial hyperpigmentation, and photo-damage, as well as diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and shallow acne scars. Removing the dead skin will aid in the penetration of skin care products by up to 50% and make-up will go on much more smoothly.

Chemical peel

Chemical PeelsA chemical peel is a body treatment technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution that causes the dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Thus the term chemical peel is derived. Some types of chemical peels can be purchased and administered without a medical license, however, people are advised to seek professional help from a dermatologist, esthetician, plastic surgeon, or otolaryngologist on a specific type of chemical peel before a procedure is performed.

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are naturally occurring carboxylic acids such as glycolic acid. This is the mildest of the peel formulas and produces light peels for treatment of fine wrinkles, areas of dryness, uneven pigmentation and acne. Alpha hydroxy acids can also be mixed with a facial wash or cream in lesser concentrations as part of a daily skin-care regimen to improve the skin’s texture.

There are five usual fruit acids: citric acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, and tartaric acid. Many other alpha hydroxy acids exist and are used.

  • Citric acid: These peels are simple and effective, although not incredibly invasive or capable of significant improvement with one treatment.
  • Glycolic acid: This acid creates a mild exfoliating action. Glycolic acid peels work by loosening up and exfoliating the superficial top layer. This peel also stimulates collagen growth. High strength peels are good in terms of efficacy but they irritate more. Some glycolic peels claim the use of strontium nitrate in order to try to reduce skin irritation. Nevertheless, strontium nitrate is a product which is strictly prohibited in cosmetic products since it has a high toxic potential
  • Lactic acid: This peel will remove dead skin cells, and promote healthier skin.
  • Malic acid: This peel is the same type of mildly invasive peel and can open up the pores, allow the pores to expel their sebum and reduce acne.
  • Tartaric acid: This is acid is capable of delivering the same benefits as the above peels.

AHA peels are not indicated for treating wrinkles.

AHA peels may cause stinging, skin redness, mild skin irritation, dryness, and take multiple treatments for desired results.
